Prior to joining Slate Point Partners, Matt was President of 54 West Group, a sponsorship and strategy consulting agency he founded in 2011 where he helped clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to startups align sponsorship strategies and marketing activations with tangible revenue growth objectives. An experienced sports law attorney, Matt began his legal career with Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom in New York and has extensive experience advising professional sports leagues and other entities on a broad range of issues including litigation and arbitration, commercial transactions, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and commercial transactions.

Matt received his Juris Doctorate from New York University and his B.A. in English from Dartmouth College. A father of five, Matt spends his free time as a passionate high school football coach and keeping up with 45 plus horses on his ranch near Colorado Springs.
